The DPT-200 is a fully-featured and easy to use DisplayPort source for development, debug and production line testing of DP controlled flat panel display modules, monitors and TV sets. DPT-200 is fully compatible with Unigraf DP RefSource CTS tools. DPT-200 is a hardware platform for HDCP compliance tests. It serves also as an AUX Controller for PHY CTS test automation. The DPT-200 allows you to monitor all aspects of the DP interface like Link and HDCP status, sink EDID and DPCD. You can also manually set DPCD, Link Parameters, Output Level Timing and Pattern used. The Source Console GUI also includes an advanced EDID editor and programmer for changing the sink EDID information. The DPT-200 allows you to easily perform tasks that are not possible with normal DP source devices. In addition to the Source Console GUI, you can use the Production Test Command set to interface DPT-200 to your automated production system.

The small size, only 10.5 × 13 × 3.5 centimeters make the DPT-200 an ideal fit for both a laboratory desktop or a production line instrument rack. The only connection needed is the DisplayPort™ input and a USB connection.
Unigraf DPT-200 is compatible with two Graphical User Interface (GUI) Softwares. DP RefSource CTS GUI is the user interface for compliance testing and DP Source Console GUI is meant for development testing and monitoring the Link Training status. Both tools provide the engineer access to all information needed with only a few clicks. This will help the engineer in maintaining effective testing or debugging sessions.
As a development and debug tool, the DPT-200 is permanently connected to a PC through its USB I/F and is operated from a GUI application. This application allows to:
• Perform manual and automatic link training
• Output PHY patterns like PRBS7, D10.2, etc.
• Output proper video timings with one out of the built-in patterns
• Set output swing and pre-emphasis levels
• Read and write EDID and DPCD locations
• Report link training outcome and state of the DP link
• Start / stop HDCP authentication

Unigraf DPT-200 is a compact-sized Reference Source for running HDCP tests for DUT DP Sink devices. DPT-200 with appropriate software is certified by DCP LLC as Authorized Test Equipment for HDCP CTS. The DP RefSource CTS SW GUI allows the user to configure the test to match the DUT capabilities, follow the execution of the test and get an easy-to-read report of the actions during the test and the details of the pass or failure.
As a second role DPT-200 is operating as a DP AUX Controller to automate the DP PHY testing with a compliant PHY Test Equipment. DPT-200 is already compatible with Keysight. Please download the applicable firmware from Unigraf Download Page.
The Production Test Command set (PTC) provides a way to control DPT-200 from the user application. This feature enables the use of DPT-200 as a source in automated software validation tests or long term Quality Assurance reliability tests.
